Nancy Antonellis D’Amato was a Research Scientist at EDC. She has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Regis College and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Before coming to EDC in 1997, Nancy taught mathematics in grades 7–12 for seven years. At EDC, she wrote curriculum for the CME Project; directed the development of The Number Crew, a K-1 multi-media mathematics curriculum; contributed to the development of Think Math!; was a primary developer for Mathematical Methods in High School and Connected Geometry; wrote material for the Developing Mathematical Research Skills project; and coordinated the Building Regional Capacity EDC/UMass Lowell mathematics leadership institute.
